I take great pride in using my expertise, my resources and my global connections to perfectly unite homes with buyers. I believe each home reflects one's self expression and I am confident that I have mastered the art of connecting the two.
Growing up in Wantagh, New York, Debbie Kantor relocated to the Sunshine State in 1959. Starting her journey to Central Florida as a teenager, this move would be paramount to the career person she was to become. Debbie attended Winter Park High School before continuing her higher education journey at Nathaniel Hawthorne College in Antrim, New Hampshire, and graduate school at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, where she is a proud alumna. Today, Debbie is based out of Premier Sotheby's International Realty's Seminole County office, where her hard-earned degrees, passion for education and social work and desire to help people are the foundation of her thriving career as a successful global real estate advisor.
As the daughter of a land developer and home builder, Debbie learned the art of buying and selling homes at a very young age. When her family migrated to Orlando, she began working with her father, looking over his home designs and floor plans and watching him build residential subdivisions. Over the years, she witnessed her community grow from a small town with few social and cultural amenities to the vibrant and diverse metropolitan city that it is today. Debbie has expanded her real estate parameters and increased her knowledge in all areas across the region.
Married for over 37 years, Debbie takes pride in knowing she has learned from the best - her late husband, Joe Kantor, an award-winning homebuilder and real estate developer whose work is shown in more than 2,000 homes throughout Michigan and Florida. Known for his architectural and interior designs, creativity and innovative residential home ideas, her years spent alongside her husband gives her a unique advantage and insight into the residential and vacation home markets.
With 30 successful years in real estate sales and service in Central Florida, Debbie has the drive and understanding for success. She offers a hands-on approach coupled with personal service, a results-driven experience and her promise to listen, market effectively and negotiate in her client's favor. Knowing all facets that encompass her customers' profile gives Debbie the ability to understand their dreams and wishes, and her robust background in marketing and strong knowledge of Orlando's communities allow her to find the perfect home for her clients.
Debbie is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Club and a graduate of the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association Leadership Institute, where she received her e-PRO® certification, New Home Consultant certification, the Gold Key of Excellence Award and the Leadership Award. She is also a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, the Florida Association of REALTORS® and the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association.
Previously, Debbie co-formed the Orlando chapter of the Association for Children for Enforcement of Support (ACES), working with the governor's office to collect court-ordered child support for those in the community. In 1994, she was an active participant in the World Cup Soccer Committee, bringing world-class soccer to Orlando. Outside of real estate, Debbie enjoys soccer, music, mahjong, cooking and reading. She also volunteered for AKIM, the National Association for the Habilitation of Children and Adults with intellectual disabilities.
