A native of Wantagh, New York and alumnus of both Nathaniel Hawthorne College in Antrim, New Hampshire and Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, Debbie Kantor has a great deal of experience in the real estate industry.With over 20 successful years in real estate sales and service in Central Florida, Debbie offers her clients a hands-on approach, coupled with personal service, results-driven experience and her promise to listen, market effectively and negotiate in their favor. She is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, the Florida Association of REALTORS® and the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association, where she received her e-PRO® certification, New Home Consultant certification, the Gold Key of Excellence Award and the Leadership Award.As the daughter of a land developer and home builder, Debbie learned the art of buying and selling homes at a very young age. When her family relocated to Orlando, Florida in 1959, Debbie began working with her father looking over home designs, floor plans and watching him build residential subdivisions. She witnessed Central Florida grow from a small town with very little social and cultural amenities to the robust and diverse metropolitan city it is today.Having raised her family in Longwood, Florida, she moved to Windermere in 2006 and is now residing in Lake Forest, Sanford. Debbie has expanded her real estate parameters and increased her knowledge on all areas in Central Florida. Now married to an active real estate developer and builder, Debbie has gained insight into the vacation home market from her husband's hobby of building vacation home subdivisions.A degree in social work, a robust background in marketing and a strong knowledge of Orlando's communities combine to give Debbie the ability to understand her clients' dreams and wishes. As a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Club and graduate of the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association Leadership Institute, Debbie has the drive and understanding for success. Listening intently and knowing all facets that encompass her buyers' profile give Debbie the opportunity to find the perfect home for her clients.Previously, Debbie co-formed the Orlando chapter ACES (Association for Children for Enforcement of Support), working with the governor's office regarding the problems of collecting court ordered child support. In 1994, she was an active participant on the World Cup Soccer Committee, bringing world-class soccer to Orlando.Outside of real estate, Debbie enjoys soccer, music, mahjong, cooking and reading. She also volunteered for AKIM, the National Association for the Habilitation of Children and Adults with intellectual disabilities.
